1. The service
QA Hunt is a candidate-only job portal for software testing roles. Through the Android app and qahunt.com you can create a candidate profile, browse and search job listings, save jobs, apply to them and track the status of your applications. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work to use QA Hunt. You may create only one account for yourself and may not create accounts for other people.
3. Your account
- You sign in with Google, a mobile number verified by a one-time code, or an e-mail address and password. Each account verifies one e-mail address and one mobile number.
- Keep your sign-in details and one-time codes to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission.
- The name, e-mail address and phone number on your account must be yours and accurate, because employers use them to contact you.
4. Your profile and applications
- You own the content you add to your profile. You give QA Hunt permission to store it, display it to you and send it, together with your application, to the employer behind a job you apply to.
- Keep your profile truthful. Do not misrepresent your experience, qualifications or identity.
- Applying through QA Hunt sends your application to the employer; whether they respond, interview or hire is their decision, not ours. You can withdraw an application in the app, but an employer may already have seen it.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- use QA Hunt for anything other than seeking employment for yourself;
- scrape, copy or redistribute listings or other content, or access the service by automated means other than the official app;
- attempt to bypass verification, rate limits or security measures, or probe or disrupt our systems;
- upload unlawful, offensive or misleading content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- impersonate anyone or apply on another person's behalf.
6. Job listings and employers
Listings are posted by employers and recruiters or curated by QA Hunt from public sources. We try to keep them accurate and current but cannot guarantee that every listing is genuine, still open, or accurately described. Always verify an opportunity directly with the employer before sharing documents or paying anything. A genuine employer never asks you to pay to apply or to be hired. Report suspicious listings to us.
7. Availability and changes
QA Hunt is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, and we may update the app; some features may require the latest version. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Intellectual property
The QA Hunt name, logo, app and website are owned by QA Hunt. You may use the app only as allowed by these terms. Third-party names and logos shown in listings belong to their owners and are used to identify the employer.
9. Disclaimers and liability
QA Hunt is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the service or the listings, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for decisions employers make, or for losses arising from content provided by third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using QA Hunt at any time and ask us to delete your account (see Account deletion). We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or abusive.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of India.
